Who is Anna K?
HI FRIENDS! I'm Anna K, a passionate makeup artist with a unique journey that led me to embrace my true calling. My path to becoming a professional makeup artist wasn't linear but filled with valuable experiences that shaped who I am today.
My initial career path was far from the glamorous world of makeup. I went to school for Sign Language Interpreting and Psychology. I was driven by a desire to connect with and help others meaningfully. However, deep down, I always dreamed of becoming a makeup artist. The creative, expressive, and empowering aspects of makeup artistry called to me, but I was hesitant. I was worried that pursuing a non-traditional career path might be seen as the "wrong" choice, and I was concerned about meeting societal expectations of success.
Everything changed when I became a mother. Motherhood has a way of bringing clarity to what truly matters in life. It was during this transformative period that I found myself and rediscovered my passion for makeup. I realized that life is too short to suppress your dreams and passions. I decided it was time to stop worrying about perceived success and to start pursuing what genuinely makes me happy. With the unwavering support of my wonderful husband, loving family, and incredible friends, I leaped into the world of makeup artistry. Their belief in me gave me the confidence to follow my heart. I also owe a huge thanks to my amazing booking team at Le Reve, who have been instrumental in helping me turn my dreams into reality.
Makeup is more than just a tool for enhancing beauty; it's a powerful form of self-expression and empowerment. It's about feeling confident, beautiful, and ready to take on the world. I am dedicated to helping others discover their unique beauty and express themselves through the art of makeup. I have been enamored by the power of makeup for as long as I can remember.
Today, I am thrilled to be living my dream as a professional makeup artist. I strive to bring out the best in every client, creating looks that reflect their style and personality. Each brushstroke is a step towards empowering someone to feel their most beautiful and confident self. I can now say that my desire to connect with and help others in a meaningful way has been met with my love for makeup artistry!
